About Us

Yolanda McClinton has served in the restaurant field for over 10 years as a General Manager, until she decided to open The Kinard's Catering Company in August 2013. She received her Bachelors in Business Science in 2014 and Masters of Business Administration(MBA) in 2017 from University of Phoenix.  She is well capable of helping you design, plan and maintain your budget for your event. She has worked many years in Corporate America as a Loan Officer, Enterprise Investigator, and  Financial Analyst,   which helped her develop a keen eye for detail that benefits her passion for effectively executing a plan and budget for your event.  

Yolanda's combination of financial skills, passion and creativity lead her to combine them all and pursue her dreams for creating and designing special events. As a Wedding and Event Coordinator, she is dedicated to exceeding every clients expectations from start to finish. Developing a personal relationship with each client is the key to making each event unique and an affair to remember. She personally assist her clients with all their  plans down to the smallest, and often most important, details that create the day of your dreams.

Over the years, Yolanda has planned many memorable weddings and events. From the most spectacular to the simplest, her events speak for themselves.  Her goal of paying close attention to intricate details and transforming visions into reality has lead her to keep an open-mind and new and innovative ideas when creating an event of a lifetime for YOU! 

On July 2020 the company name was changed to Kinard's Catering & Events LLC. Following the name change there first  location was opened  at  2515 E Ozark Ave. Gastonia, NC 28054 on April 17th 2021. 

Kinard's Catering & Events is a wedding and event decorators specializing in Wedding and Event Decorations, Backdrops, Ceiling Draping, Cakes, Floral Styling and Event Rentals and much more. We are passionate about decorating and it shows in the work that we do! We will customize everything from centerpieces, chair covers, table linen and event furniture for your wedding or special event.
